Hey there, Author! God has hidden His redemptive story in the depths of your heart. When you write your manuscript, you are partnering with Him to mine that rough diamond from the caverns of your soul. Your story is precious and valuable; it’s a true treasure meant to bring light to the world.

My purpose as a non-fiction editor is to come alongside you to bring your gem of a manuscript to life as a published book. I see the incredible potential in your rough diamond, and partner with the Holy Spirit for the polishing process. My editorial “cutting” and “polishing” allows your manuscript to shine with God’s brilliance!

As a best-selling author and professional freelance editor, it’s been my pleasure to write and edit over a dozen books for God’s glory. Having handed my own manuscripts over to skilled editors, I understand the powerful impact a good editor can make in the publishing process. My goal is to empower authors to self-publish through Amazon. Whether you’re just starting out and need someone to come alongside you every step of the way, or you’re a seasoned author who simply needs proofreading, I am here for you! (Professional editing projects and resume available upon request.)

Please note: I only edit ONE project at at time. When you hire me, you have my full attention! I will obsess over your manuscript like Gollum obsessed over The Precious.

Developmental editing starts at $30/hour (approximately 4 pages per hour). Manuscript should be double-spaced, size 12 font, with regular margins. Cover art and design is $75. Deposit is $200. [Example invoice for a 100 page manuscript: 25 hours at $30/hour ($750), with cover art and design ($75) = $825.]

Texas authors: I offer special rates for author/editor workshops and conferences!

Half-day (4 hours) editing workshops start at $300/up to 10 writers, and full-day editing workshops (8 hours) start at $600/up to 10 writers. Workshops are a fantastic way to write and edit with friends while benefitting from hands-on editing and personal consultation, for a fraction of the cost. Grab some friends, brew some tea, and chip in for an editing workshop! (You don’t need a group of 10, but definitely don’t want more than 10 at a time.)

Workshop locations within a 50 mile radius of the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport will not incur travel fees. Locations outside the 50 mile radius will incur travel fees at $1.00/mile. (50% deposit due upon booking.)
