About Robin

Robin is a certified trauma coach and retired Air Force First Sergeant who equips believers to heal trauma with the Holy Spirit.

Hi friend! I’m Robin Ludwig, a best-selling Christian author, Bible teacher, podcaster, certified trauma coach, and retired United States Air Force First Sergeant. My calling is to help believers experience biblical trauma healing through Jesus Christ and walk in lasting freedom.

I partner with the Holy Spirit to cultivate Christ-centered healing through books, podcasts, and in-person teaching. With my whole heart, I believe freedom is your birthright and victory is your portion. One of the most powerful healing tools God gives His people is the ability to hear His voice and receive His truth about who they are.

I’ve written, taught, and trained believers to live from their God-given identity and the finished work of the cross. My ministry centers on biblical trauma healing—helping wounded hearts and overwhelmed nervous systems come back into alignment with God’s design. Whether I’m teaching trauma healing to soldiers or civilians, speaking Scripture and Spirit-led truth to dismantle fear and lies, or gently guiding believers into the peace of God, my passion is the same: to see chains fall and people restored to wholeness.

My journey has taken me from combat boots to prayer cabins—from leading military teams through humanitarian, medical, and disaster relief missions, to creating trauma-informed, Spirit-led spaces for healing in homes, churches, and faith communities. As a veteran with lived experience in trauma recovery (and as a certified trauma coach) I bring both practical understanding and biblical wisdom to the healing process. I help people understand how trauma impacts the body, brain, and spirit, and how Jesus restores what trauma disrupted.

In my Spirit-filled trauma healing work, I equip believers to engage both the Word of God and the God-designed systems of the body to experience lasting shalom peace. Using scripture-based practices supported by neuroscience, I teach simple, biblically grounded tools that help regulate the nervous system, tone the vagal nerve, calm stress responses, and rebuild emotional resilience.

I also create space for biblically grounded prophetic encouragement in partnership with the Holy Spirit. When God speaks truth over a person’s identity, it often breaks trauma’s grip at the root. Prophetic insight brings freedom, revelation, and restoration.

When we partner our breath with the Holy Spirit and speak the Word of God aloud, it brings the body back into safety and peace—something revealed in Scripture (Genesis 2:7, Ezekiel 37, John 20:22, Acts 2). In these moments, worship, Scripture, prophetic truth, and brain science intersect, creating space for anxiety to lift, trauma to loosen its hold, and the peace of Christ to settle deeply into the body and soul.

I believe healing is meant to be walked out in community, not isolation. While there is a place for one-on-one biblically grounded counseling, trauma is broken most powerfully in the safety of godly community. Trauma isolates, but healing multiplies in the Body of Christ.

When Jesus raised Lazarus, He didn’t remove the grave clothes Himself. He turned to the community and said, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go” (John 11:44). That is the picture of biblical trauma healing. We come alongside one another, speak life, and gently help remove fear, shame, and sorrow—together. This is holy partnership: biblical truth, brain science, prophetic insight, and the compassion of believers working as the hands and feet of Jesus.

When I’m not writing or teaching, you’ll find me homeschooling my two adventurous sons, traveling with my amazing husband, and unapologetically sampling tea and dark chocolate. Our favorite place to rest and reset is an incredible prayer cabin tucked deep in the East Texas woods—a thin place cultivated by Rebecca Friedlander—where we slow down, breathe deeply, and listen to Abba’s heart as a family.

If you’re seeking biblical trauma healing, practical tools rooted in Scripture, or a trusted guide who understands both spiritual warfare and nervous system restoration—you’re in the right place.

Please Note: I do not offer one-on-one counseling or individual trauma coaching services. Everything God reveals to me about biblical trauma healing is shared through teaching, books, podcasts, and in-person events that equip and encourage believers on their healing journey! Several times a year, I speak at Rebecca Friedlander’s retreats with Potter’s House Creative Ministries in East Texas, so stay tuned to her website for in-person retreats.
